    ls7 clutch package

I am looking at the ls7 clutch package with the ls2 flywheel from Fred Beans dealership. On the website it says that you need to have the updated master and slave cylinders. I own a 98 z28 and i know that the master and slave cylinder were updated in 01, but do i have to replace the master cylinder in order put the ls7 clutch in?

Do it while you're in there. It's best to upgrade while you are in there, they changed them for a reason. BTW you'll love the LS7, it feels stock

often times i find that i am unable to go into a gear unless i let the clutch out and press it back in. Then it will slide right into gear. Will replacing the clutch and master cylinder correct this problem?
