Ls1 Swap and trouble with ECU
i have a 1986 camaro irocz and threw in an ls1 and i flashed the ECU and did all the wiring done off the original wiring. but now the motor starts for a couple of seconds when i put in starting fluid, but it seems my injectors have positive charge, but! it seems the computer or something is not sending the negative charge that should be sent to injectors..? what can it be?

yeah fuel passes threw the fuel line and gets to the fuel rain in top of injectors and seems that the injectors don't want to open....

if you don't prime it will it start and run at all? Sounds like it won't. The reason I'm asking is because vats in the 06 will actually let the engine start but kills the injectors after a couple of seconds so if it's not starting at all that would steer me away from vats. What I don't know is if there's another level of vats failure that would kill the injectors altogether. When you say the injectors are getting power how are you checking that? I would think those wires will have power or they won't. If it's not grounding I don't understand how you're checking for voltage there. What about your chassis grounds? Are they all connected to good solid ground points? Any other electrical issues that would make you think a ground issue?
