Red face LS1 in a notch?

I know this may piss some people off ( i hope not) but does anyone know where i can get some info on a ls1 swap into a mid 90's notchback mustang?

I've came across a smokin deal on a complete LS1 drivetrain out of a 01 ws6 that was rearended horribly!Complete drivetrain (6 speed)with harnesses and ecm

It's a pretty common swap anymore... Car Craft has even done one over the past few issues. Check out the "Swap/Hybrid" forum over at LS1tech.com as there are currently a few getting done over there. LSx power in a sub-3000lb LX is no joke...

Popular hot rodding just did this as well. They got much flack about it from readers (mustang boys hated it) but the little LS1'd fox ran damn 10's with way less mods than most Fbods have pushing in the 11's.

its actually a good idea because a notch is about 3000 pounds. i'd like to see it if you end up going through with it, would be a monster. as mentioned ls1tech has a forum dedicated to this kind of thing and it is a popular swap. good luck!

Actually slims00 is correct, it is PHR doing the series. The car is named "The Orphan" and there is a good article on it in the June 2007 edition.
