You'll need to swap the coolant lines also...oh and the oil sending unit breaks easy so take your time and be careful. They usually break when they get caught on the manifold as you're pulling it out.

    Here this should help.. http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=5

The worse part about it, when I was swapping ls1 to ls6 intake on my friends 99 ta we broke it and we went to 4 different Auto Part stores and no one had one in stock.

So we just put everything back together and he was driving with no oil pressure for 2 weeks

Broke mine during my swap also about 3-4 months ago and still driving with no oil PSI sending unit. I would like to hook up an autometer guage but dont have the tools to tap into the block for the sending unit for it. Probably just get a stocker and put it in eventually.

do the block off plate, and then when your ready to get it tuned have them turn it off.

( when you get it tuned its free, but when you just get that done , the last post i read that juist wanted the egr/air pump deleated was like 900$,) soo wait till you get it tuned

You "can" install it without changing over the coolant lines under the intake. It's debatable whether you'd want to. The LS6 I bought someone did that and it left the indentations on the bottom ribs so I just installed it over them since the intake already had been before I got it. Ya, oil sensor be careful with I didn't break mine changine from LS1 to LS6 but I did break it taking the top end apart to do an autopsy on my engine.

i would hate to be the person who ends up buying that '01 T/A and finding out that it has a LS1 intake manifold instead of the LS6.

And like everyone else said be careful with the oil pressure sending unit. I broke mine in half when i installed my LS6.
