ls1 to ls2 swap questions

Just wondering if anyone had swapped an ls2 into the TA yet. i have an ls2 and so upgrades that im considering putting in my 00 ws6, and was wondering if anyone had any pointers or tips. i know the oil pans are different but i wasnt sure if the passages would work if you swap the stock pans. i also know the knock sensor connectors are different. any input would be greatly appreciated.

The swap is actually simple. Swap your ls1 intake and tb or ls6 if you have it onto the ls2 engine. The ls2 intake sucks and the tb is drive by wire. Use you ls1 harness to which you will need a cam sensor extension along with the knock sensor extensions. Also starting in late 06 ls2's came with a 58x reluctor wheel on the crank if you engine is an 05 it willl have the correct 24x if not you will need to either swap the one on the crank or get a conversion box from lingenfelter to use it with the ls1 pcm. When you take off the oil pan you will see on one end of the crank a cogged wheel count the teeth hopefully theyre are only 24 of them. Other than that just swap your oil pan, pick up tube, and windage tray along with the water pump and other accessories.
