LS1 longevity?
I was curious to how long these motors last... I was looking around and the cars (like an ss or ws6) that I like, seem to have around 65k+. I know there are factors like how hard the car has been driven or just regular maintenance that need to be considered. I know I could just buy one with less miles but unfortunately I have a budget. I don't mind spending the money I just want to make sure I got all my bases covered. Thanks.

At the track I have seen some people with 120,000-140,000 miles on the clock with nothing but the regular oil change, all the ones I have seen though were all stock and they were all autos. 6 speeds that's a different story-couldn't tell you.
http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94209 this should help.
