    LS1 Intercontinental Airport Houston

    I am going to look at a 2002 Camaro this Saturday mourning to buy the motor by IAH and was wondering if any local LS1 guy would look at it with me. The car is totaled back half but runs and is driveable. It has a FAST intake and throttle body, dual intercooled procharger, may have a cam and forged pistons.

    No just a 51 year old grey headed guy. I am just not that familiar with modded LS1motors. The car is at a wholeseller who bought the the car. He thinks it has a cam and maybe forged pistons because he says you can hear the light piston slap sound when it first runs. I know some people switch to synthetic oil say it will make that sound. I will probably buy it because it only has 20,00 miles on it.
