LS1 intake manifold part

I am building a new project and as usual things don't always go smoothly. I was fitting the engine in the compartment and broke the plastic power brake connector on the back of the intake I went to the dealer and I would have to purchase the entire manifold to get this twist end connector for mucho bucks. Does anyone have any parts available. I appreciate any information or leads to this part.

that part is really a mystery..you cant remove that part without breaking it...so that is why they sell it as a whole

sorry...if you need a new intake...get a ls6 ..bolts right on to a ls1

i thought that part just twisted in to lock

i destroyed mine on my ls1 intake after the ls6 swap..you cant get those things off ..i guess it might be easier to install

try droping the craddle out next time it helps out and makes things 100 times easier, go w the ls6 intake or a fast intake on ebay i got the ls6 it is kick ass good luck !!

dropping the engine ??? that's ridiculously more difficult then a swap. i have swap my intake 5+ times fighting a vacuum leak and am able to do it in roughly 8 minutes (uninstall ) then 8 more minutes for the install.

if hes just doin the intake no dont drop it out if he is redoing the whole engine its way easier i got a ss camaro w the ls1 and i had it out in a lil over a hour w the two post lift

from the sounds of it..he was installing the engine and during the install broke the brake booster/map/hvac fitment.

i was trying to cram the ls into a 51 ford with a s-10 clip,tite fit, but its in now .it looks like i am going to have to buy another manifold

here's what i did. JB weld a brass nipple into the existing section. should hold up fine.
