no prob, a friend of mine is building a Mk IV and wants to integrate the cam timing sensor form a LS1, i don't even think it's possible but wanted to check for him anyway, i'm thinking a crank position sensor ala MSD may do the trick..

try doing a seach for a "flying trigger" lots of SCCA cars run a number of different types. years ago I ran one (cant remember the company name) it had a flat gear that bolted to the front of the crank pulley and used a magentic pickup to trigger tha coil packs, it came as a kit with coil packs, trigger pickup, trigger wheel, all the mounts, and had adjustable "pots" for advance and retard at different rpms and wide open throttle. they had the kits for 4,6,8,10, and 12 cylinder applications for around $500.....that was about ten years ago though.

The LS2s have the sensor on the front of the motor, the timing chain gear has the "trigger" on it. That might be a better alternative to try and use.
