ls1 to 408 swap!!!
ok so im ready to buy the 408 now....i was told my heads and cam were interchangable..........what else that you guys know is and isnt.....will i need bigger injectors/radiator/tb/upgraded waterpump and stuff....any diffrent wireing kits will be needed????HELP ME!!!!

yes, you can move your stuff over to the 408. larger injectors would be needed. i'm going with 42# SVO. i'm also getting an 85mm TB. might need a larger radiator.

Ive heard and a could be wrong but if the block is the aluminum 6.0 ls2 that you gotta get the wiring kit to extend the knock sensors and the cam sensors and must use an ls1 cam too and i just heard GM finally has a part # for that wireing kit.correct me if im wrong guys?

yes, the LS2 block relocated the knock sensors and the cam sensor.

Running the stock radiator with my 402.
In order to really make the best outta the motor, you need to get air in and air out as best possible.
But you can run the 402/408 on stock heads and stock cam if you wanted.

well... i have fully ported ls6 heads.....gx5-3 cam....so...yea.....and where would i get this wireing kit at....what is it called....should i stick with my ls6 intake??? thanks so far so good!!!!
