LS in a Jeep JK

We are putting a 2010 6.2L VVT engine in a Jeep and also using a 6L80 trans any one use this engine combo before and is this a good engine/trans combo.

I can't help you, but I just wanted to say, 6.2L JK..... that's awesome!!

I love the JK, but I just cringe everythime I think of that 3.8. It's no powerhouse, but I love the 4.0 in my ZJ...150K and runs like new.

Good luck with the conversion, it's nice to see something other than a Hemi swap for a change.

I don't have any personal experience with that combo, but you really can't go wrong with a LS engine IMO. They make great power, are reliable, and are surprisingly economical.
