Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
A lot of it depends on the offset of the rim. I am running 18x11s in the rear wrapped in 315/30/18 and am lowered 1.2" all the way around. I had to make no modifications to fit but did add an on car adjustable panhard bar to center the rear after lowering.

so if i buy the on-car adjustable lower control arms and panhard bar will i still need the relocation brackets and will the wheels and tires still fit since they are the 17x11 zr1 with 50mm offset??

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
This is what I have read:
17"x11" Wheels
ZR-1 Style for Camaro +50 mm (Known as Grand Sport offset)
ZR-1 Style fo Firebird +36 or +50 mm The wheel well on the "bird" is a little wider.
American Racing TT-2's +45 mm
With 17"x11"s there is always a possibility of needing the BFH and/or fender rolling mods with 315s. If lowered, an Adjustable Panhard Bar becomes a virtual necessity. Some have used the +38 offsets with an 11" wheel but it does stick outside the fender and is definitly not recommended on lowered vehicles. +50 and +56 are the two most common. +50 is the better fit (for the ZR-1 replica).
For road race only applications a 17"x11" at all four corners can be made to fit.

short answer... yes...
the panhard rod/bar will center your rear...
the LCA relocation brackets will put the LCA's back to the position the belong in and help stop wheelhop... the adjustments on the LCA's will help angle the pumpkin on the rear to keep the DS in a nice straight line into the trans...

LCA relocation brackets are a must. And you cant really go wrong with them. I have sets from UMI and Founders. Both work extremely well but founders you can get for $45.
