Solid advise here. A new battery and new alternator is what your car needs.

Well the volt gauge has 5 " ticks" 8 volt mark, second mark, 13 mark, fourth mark, and the 18 mark. My gauge reads just below the fourth mark maybe a mm. Idk why I said third mark my bad lol.

should be ok there. put a volt meter across the battery with the engine running to verify the voltage is ok.

I had this issue with my TA since I got it. It will read 14v at start up. Once the engine warms up that the fans runs at full soeed the voltage drops to 11.6 -12.1 at stop in gear. I have replaced the alternators thru these years three times, two brand new batteries, replaced the big 3 wires and it continues to do it. The car has never shut off, dim lights or anything.

I must have a gremlin, but at least it hasn't caused a major issue. I had the car for 5 yrs with this issue... I guess I can try a bigger alternator one day. I don't have a big stereo besides a kenwood cd with 4 two speakers.

I have check the voltage reading with two different voltmeter everywhere and I get the same voltage results...
