    low oil pressure ??

I have a 1998 Z28 M6 and im currently running mobile 10-30 and when its warmed up at idle the pressure is around 35 psi. im not sure why but that seems a little low so i was just wondering if thats what everyone elses runs at. was also possibly thinking of running 10-40 for the summer is that to thick?

Mines about 35 also at running temp idle....give or take some. I'd stay with 30 weight...but there's a huge thread called oil junkie that you can read, lots of good info in there.

Being that Mobil 1 is fully synthetic, its easier to pump and therefore flows through the engine better. Hence the reason for the slightly lower oil pressure

It says in the owners manual that anything between 20PSI and 80PSI is fine as well.
