    2001 camaro Z28

    Loose steering wheel

    hey, the steering wheel on my camaro moves down to the left if i pull on it. does anybody know how to fix this. ive read up that its the 4 little torx screws in the column. how do i get to these? i have the steering wheel and airbag off now. does anyone have any good pics how to do this?

    The only other thing left to remove it the turn signal switch. Just remember to use loctite on the bolts when you put them back in.

    how do i remove the turn signal switch? and the plate this in the middle of the steering column gets removed?

    Ya have to remove the plate and IIRC, there are torx screws holding the turn signal switch in place. Most GM's are set up that way.

    that switch is a pain in the ass. you have to unplug it for under the steering column and then pull it out through the top of the column

    ok, cause i got down to the white plate, with all the springs and stuff in it, i just gotta figure out how to get that out now

    i got down to the bare column. i can get to one bolt but it was already pretty tight. how do i take the metal part of the column off to get to the other 3 bolts?
