    Locked my keys in

I was washin my car inside and out and I let my baby girl play inside and she must have locked it while I was doing it anyways finished up closed everything and realize it's locked. I have no spare at all, the windows are up, the doors are fully closed. and the keys are sitting on the seat teasin me. Any way to get it or do I have to call a locksmith?

    Time is important

    call a tow truck company.

i've heard the cops will do it as well.

those are the only things I can think of.

Most of the electrical components, door locks and hatch releases are all interior. You'd have to take off the bumper or fender to get to them. Then read a wiring diagram.... by this point someone (i.e. tow truck companies or lock smiths) could have the door open already.

Maybe a good time for a key copy, either way.

Yea this is what I was thinking. I'd take shit off of my saturn any day but not my TA, It's in the garage at my parents but it's taking up two spots so I'm sure I'll hear about it later.

As long as she's ok, lesson learned. I actually have 3 copies of my TA keys, I got a new ignition cylinder put in so I got a brand new key, drove it right to the locksmith (b/c lowes and home depot don't know what they're doing) and I only use the copies.

Come to think of it, I have 3 copies for my jeep too... Damn.

When I was getting a dyno years ago, they accidently locked my keys in the car. Called AAA, the guy took about 20 sec to get into the car.
He used a wedge piece of plastic and pushed it between the window and the seal (along the rear side) and slide a metal rod with a hook on it to push the unlock lever.

Also I believe anyone can cut the key for the doors too, but only the dealership can make the ones for the ignition. (I know this doesn't apply for this situation as dealerships are the only ones with assess to VINs, but for future reference)

Call a locksmith and once you get your keys, head to Home Depot or Lowes and have a door key cut. I think I paid 5 bucks to have a duplicate door key cut for my last car. And keep the duplicate in your wallet. I would suggest a Key Locker, but folks are way nosey.

Yep a lot of tow companies use the Big Easy with an inflatable wedge to get into locked cars. I've used one dozens of times, they work great.

Because the door lock buttons become inoperative within a couple of minutes after the car is locked.
Nice safety feature, if it were that easy everyone would be stealing these things,,,lol. Nice thought though.

While you are there, pick up another Key Fob. All these cars when new came with 2 of them.
I'm guessing you don't have the second one anymore or you would have been in the car already.
