    This may sound stupid but, where is the PCV valve and the MAP sensor located on a 02 Camaro SS? I have a Chilton book thats about to go in the trash!!!

    map sensor is located on the back of the intake, the pcv runs along the passenger side of the intake.

    Post the code(s), might be something else like a vacuum leak, etc.

    Jay, whats that thin line that follows back with the break booster hose in this pic? I know the HVAC connects to the T section going to the right of the pic.

    Is this where the Air Pump system connects to the intake for 01-02 yrs?

    that small hose connect to a valve for the AIR system in those years.

    It started with 1637 then I got a 0131 and 0171. Cleared the codes, cleaned the MAF and the codes went away for a few days. then the 0131 and 0171 came back. When you push the gas, the car spits, sputters then clears up. Turn on the A/C and the volts drop to 10-11. Of course it doesn't do it all the time either.
