LM7 swap
i am planning on building a 5.3 turbo for my 78 t/a with a 350 turbo trans. this will be my first time working on a LS base motor. i think i have a general idea of how its gonna go down. but i had a question on fitment. i see that the swap kits come w/ the cross member. i was just wondering if i run the turbo 350 would i have to change the cross member or is the cross member only needed if ima run the 4L60E?

Depends on how far the motor mounts set the engine back. I have a 71 Camaro SS. With the TH350 I would use the same crossmember and all you will have to do is move it back and redrill the holes for proper placement. I would double check your driveshaft angle as well. Good Luck!
