    lights flashing

ive noticed that my headlights, well every light, sort of flashes with the engine idle...its not too bad, but its enough to notice. the volt gauge seems to go a little back and forth as well...could it be a bad body control module or what?

Get a new belt if its looking worn, never hurts.

If you have a voltmeter (multileter) see what kind of voltage the alternator is putting out at idle. If its low, you know you have a charging problem. If you don't have a multimeter, you can take it to Advance or Autozone, they will check it for free.

i'll probably do the drive belts this weekend and see what. lets just say i checked it, and the alternator is fine, what else do you think could be the problem?

Check out the battery connections. Might have some corrosion.

i vote for the corrosion checking, when I got my bird there was no obvious corrosion, but a closer look revealed MAJOR corrosion, it was all hiding under those plastic red and black batt covers. Those covers just slide off and a major dunk in baking soda water did the trick, it was so bad I dont even know how the car was getting enough juice to even start

well this weekend ill clean the battery connections, replace my belts, and have the alternator checked out...if its none of the above i guess ill just have to deal with it, haha...i have a feeling its my drive belts or one of the modules, bcm or pcm maybe, hopefully its just the belts

The wife has a 2005 Chevy Uplander minivan and it has done the same thing since new. I think it's just shitty harness designning at GM.
