    Light bulb under center console on tranny tunnel??

    2000 ws6 6speed. i removed my shifter boot to replace it, while doing so i realized there is a bulb that just sits on the bottom of my car by the shifter. it is always on while the car is started. is this suppose to be mounted in a specific place or used for something? surely it is not suppose to just be dangling under my console. anyone know where this goes or where i am suppose to mount it? i can post a picture if no one has any idea what bulb i am talking about, just let me know. thanks so much.
