    lid help

    i got a good deal on ebay, slp lid and k&n filter for 75.00. got a question with the lid, my car 2002 t/a ws6 has the hose that attaches to the side of the lid, not really sure what its for but its a really tight fit to get it on there any suggestions.

    It's the hose to your air pump...try using a lube of some kind if it's that hard.

    hmmm ill try not to take that the wrong way. its not that i cant get the hose on its more like its not long enough and doesnt reach.

    It should be long enough - you're going from the stock lid directly to the SLP right? Pull on the hose a little. Just don't kink the hose, it'll throw an SES light.

    that's weird...when I put my slp lid on it had more than enough room, with a little extra too. Maybe a previous owner cut the hose for some reason?
