    Question LED lights

Who uses or has used LED bulbs as replacements for Running Lamps/turn signals? I'm looking to find a pair that are really bright. I tried a pair of amber ones from AutoZone by Pilot (picture related). They were pretty dim compared to the old amber incandescent and two of the LEDS were burned out on one of them (gonna return them). My light housings are brand new clear plastic ones. The old light housings were in rough shape. Lots of melting from the heat off the old bulbs. I wanted to go LED so that they would last longer and not melt my new shiny housings. So what are some really bright amber LED bulbs to fit the 3057/3157 Sockets up front?

TLDR: What brand LED bulbs should I buy to fit my running lamps/turn signals up front (3057/3157)?

Went to their site, pricey but I bought a pair of HP11 Amber LED bulbs (pic related). Very bright and work great! However, they are too long by about 2 or 3 mm and I cant close the socket over the light housing . How did you get yours to fit? Attachment 26356

You might have to exchange them for shorter bulbs. If you want to keep them, you could try wrapping electrical tape around the socket to seal the socket to the lens or fab up a rubber boot to seal the socket to the lens.
