Leaking like she drank a pitcher of beer!
I have had a pretty good oil leak for a while in the 2000ss with a couple of local mechanics unable to locate the source. I figured that once I move into a house with a garage ill start with the oil sending unit..no worries..
I took the car in for a quick oil change and the kid said they had to put 3 quarts in the tranny (m6)..now im worried..last time the tranny was touched was 18mo and 15k miles ago with the install of the new clutch...what do you all think..where do i start with this one?
thanks in advance...

Start by figuring out what is actually leaking and where from. You may need to clean up the underside for starters as it will have blown all over the place.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Spray the trans with brakleen and wipe it down. Put the car on ramps or a lift and see where the leak is coming from. You could have a worn output shaft seal...or cracked casing in a worst case scenario. You could replace the seal in a few hours depending on tool and lift availability.
