If not then can you guys pethaps recommend a brand to me thats very similar to the factory ones? And where i can find this? Or perhaps just make a recommendation of a better than factory brand? Thanks.

Spicer is the way to go for a service part u-joint and you can get them at any decient parts store. They will run you about 15-20 I think vs closer 120 at the dealer.
As a side note, chances are spicer makes the GM u-joint

I just googled spicer and saw that it was really hard to find and I don't have time to for an order online. My car needs it now. So maybe I can get another recommendation? Thanks though. Just wished that spicer was of easy avail.

You should be able to walk into any parts store and get one it really doens't matter just don't cheap out and get the house brand. Spicer is just the barand of choice, I am using a different brand on my truck but I forget the name, with no issues at all.

just go to a parts store and say you need a U joint for whichever car you need one for. most likely they will carry spicer, and i would bet on it that GM uses spicer

looks like so. But before I make my purchase tomorrow, I'll make some last minute calls to see if any local parts store besides the major stores to see if any of em have spicers. Thanks for all the responses.
