    knocking noise at start

i have a 99 t/a with 130xxx miles. when i start it(especially when cold) it makes this knocking...maybe more of a ticking noise. its not real loud. but it kinda makes my car sound crappy. it goes away after about 30 or so seconds at idle. it increases with the idle when its happening. anyone know what it is? its all bone stock by the way.

    Thanks

i got it too. just let it warm up a little and it will be fine. alot of people on here have it especially on higher mileage cars. personally i believe it is just taking a few seconds to get everything oiled up good

it's piston slap and is common with the LS1. Nothing to worry about.
