So a new problem arose yesterday. I'd try to get it on camera but i dont think it would pick it up. When going into first, something towards the front of the car will rattle, like it's loose or something. Im beginning to worry that it might be the motor mounts. Anyone else have any ideas of what it could be? im really hoping to NOT have to take off headers and go through all that

If its an auto, the way that I found mine were bad besides the noise was to get someone to watch under the hood and put it in drive and stall it up to about 2500 and see if the drivers side of the engine raises up, if so they are toast.

Perform the test I use at work. First gear with the parking brake engaged. Give light revs in gear with the hood open and looking under the hood from inside the car, check for any excessive movement of the engine from right to left. Or give light revs and look/feel for any excessive movement of the shifter which would be the trans mount.

^^^ agreed. Mine had a horrible noise when going wot when cruising down the interstate. Inner and outer metal part of the clamshell was rubbing each other form the rubber being rotted out.
