You may have used too much of the filter oil and contaminated the MAF sensor.
Possibly damaged the IAT sensor..
Did you make sure everything was pluged back in after the install?
No air leaks around connections?

Use some MAF cleaner on the MAF but be very careful with the thin, hairlike, wires in the inside. They break easily and can't be fixed. That should take care of the problem.

Take the K&N filter back for refund, clean the maf as suggested as above. Pray the K&N oil or you didn't fry the MAF sensor.

I would NOT use anything other than CRC MAF cleaner or equivalant electronics cleaner on the MAF itself..
Do not touch anything inside or attemt to wipe anything inside the sensor as you may do more harm than good.
Make sure it's dissconnected prior to spraying it as well.

Since no one asked... What codes is it throwing? that will narrow your fix down real fast.

Clean the MAF and if you don't have anywhere to drive, wrap the filter in newspaper to soak up any excess oil for about an hour.
