    2001 camaro v6

    keyless entry question

    ok guys i just recently purchased a 2001 camaro 3.8 m5. when i got this car is didnt come with a keyless entry fob. my question is can i just buy one and program it to my car? or did some camaros not come with this. it has power locks so i would imagine i can just buy one and program it. is their anything i can look for on my car to know if i can do this? thanks in advance, forrest

    See if you have RPO code "AU0" (Remote Entry Lock Control) on the driver's side door. Saw a post on one of the boards where a guy bought a Z28 from a dealer without a key fob, had the code, bought one and it worked.
