    It's alive

Just got back from a test drive.

    LS6 Intake installed = check
New Oil Pressure Sender = check
New PCV with Mod = check

chirped 4 gears on a launch = check, check, quadrupedal check

Wow what a difference between LS1 and LS6.

Much thanks to those that helped guide me.

I hope this weekend is good so I can do a couple of vids

I already had a tune from Frost. When I did my headers I check LS6 intake. Found my copy this past weekend to make sure.

Now I feel I'm at a point that I want to get a few pulls on a Dynojet to see where I'm at.

Unfortunately, I would have to drive almost 3 hours to get to a dyno. Maybe someday... after some more mods.

Nice. You really feel the difference between the intakes, eh? That's the only change you did? I need to do this, maybe this winter or early spring.

And was the new oil sending unit self inflicted damage like so many others have done? Come on now, you can admit it,.

Already admitted it in another thread. Even gave props to Orion for warning me about it and I still manage to do it.

All my current mods are in my signature. All of this I've done in since I got her Mar 09.

Future plans are: Ported LS6 Oil Pump, Pro 5.0 short shift, finish getting UMI suspension parts ( i have SFCs and STB, So I need everything else ) New hood and paint, dream is a LS6 but still need $$$ to accomplished it all. I have a dream of how I want her to be when she's finish. Just takes time and a lot of cash to get there.

cheap performance vs price... i got my crate ls6 for $3,400 (i think)...

you can build a 402 or larger but you'll end up spending 8-10k...

heads and cam and you can have more power for the same price...but once again i think we butt heads on the ls6 thing...i dont really see the point as of now having a ls6 unless you need a cheap replacement motor for the ls1..

for a dream engine there are ls2 and ls3 and such..a used ls3 low mileage with harness and everything is in the 4k-5k range...430 crank right off the get go and you can run the newer style heads...4" bore is a good thing

It's one of those wtf now things. You know I just installed the intake. Well today my a/c fan seems to be out. By that I mean The a/c comes on I feel cool air, it's just that it seems like it won't change directions when you change it from Max, A/C any of the positions on the right dial. Did I disconnect something on the fire wall that controls this or is it just something else.

Can't live without A/C here. today it's 95 before the heat index

I also sent some PMs to some individuals here

Are you talking about these 2 things

or the small tube that this connects to on the back of the intake below the wire connection on the back of the intake?
