    Issues!!

Ok so it started out when I got to the gas station today after work, I go in and come back out go to crank the car up and it turns over once and wouldn't do anything, so I figured hey battery. Well changed the battery and crunk it up, it acted like it was dying so I had to keep giving it fuel to keep the rpms up. I got home and turned it off and back on and it acted just fine but it seems like the rpms are a little high, any idea's? I am kinda afraid to drive it tomorrow since I work an hour away, the rpms going up and down btw was when the volt gauge was reading just fine and the lights werent dimming either..

I will give it a quick glance over, but it just doesn;t sound like it's missing, just the rpms were going real crazy anywhere from 300 to 700 back and forth.

When you changed out the battery the PCM has to do a little bit of learning before everything will settle in. Let it idle for a bit in your driveway and see how it acts.

I agree even with a fast swap of the battery the PCM will need to learn a little. It will lose some info period when the battery is removed.

Glad that's all it was. I've had it happen to me before after my car sat too long and I had to recharge the battery. Took a good 10 minutes or so before she was back to normal.
