Installed line lock and now have abs light on???

I just got back from a ride in my 02 Z after getting the slp line lock installed and putting the welds on as well. going down the road my abs inop light and brake light comes on. Cut the car off the lights reset but after a few minutes they pop back on. Could air in the lines cause this or could it be a bad sensor? I havent tried putting my 18s back on but thats the next thing im going to try.

Hmmm. Had zero issues with mine after installing it. What is the height difference between your front and rear tires?

fronts are about 24in and the back are 28. im thinking i have air in the front because the line lock had a leak and i had to loosen the lines up. Never bled them back out.

The tire diameter difference is the problem. The wheel speed sensors see this as a huge difference and think that your car is either slipping, or that the system has a fault as it is continuous. Stick your other tires back on the car, unhook your battery for a few minutes (or simply drive the car for a while) and then see what happens.

ill try it today. Hoping to get to the track this evening to see if we dont get faster on the slicks. Did a test launch last night and it never hooked that good before on the street.

I agree with Jeff..... 4" is a pretty substantial difference in height. I would want to make damn certain those brakes are bled out though before taking it to the track.

im going to do that in a few. Its hard tho when you dont have a extra set of hands. People like to use the shop for there own cars but when it comes time to help they bail.
