    Injector sizing??

Probably a dumb question but I am new to LS1 build ups. And I am building modifying one for a buddy. Stock heads. Looking at a cam in the 230's at .050 and .550's for lift. fast intake and 90mm throtle body. long tube headers and a 3500 stall and 3.73 or 4.1 gears.

will the stock injectors keep up with this?? i doubt it but i have no idea what the stock injectors are even rated at?????

Most stock LS1 injectors are either 26 lb or 28 lbs--With your mods you will be close to 80% duty cycle(which is considered the limit)--If they plan to race or run it wide open alot then you should go with bigger injectors--something like the Ford 30 Lb SVO's--On my car i have approx 390 RWHP on a hds/cam car--My duty cycles are over 80 % about 88% at WOT--But i don't race it often and only kepp it at WOT for short periods and i haven't had any problems--If you do change the injectors it takes a lot more tuning effort to dial in the fuel curve at both part throttle and WOT settings--
