If I read that correctly, the car is a manual shift and your friend didn't press the clutch? The car will not start if the clutch isn't depressed. Also sounds like a possible VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System) issue.

if you do the bypass trick the security light should stop blinking. Make sure you are inserting the prongs correctly in the plug. If the light is not flashing then get a volt meter and measure for 12v at the small starter wire when someone turn the key to crank. If you get 12v it means that the stater is bad. If you don't get 12v you could have a bad starter relay or ignition switch.

make sure you're wiring in your resistor(s) correctly.

99 out of 100 times if anyone has problems with the bypass it's because they're missing something or doing something wrong. Verify your ohms again by touching your leads to either side of the pellet. Make sure you're using a gold band (5% tolerance) resistor and that it is as close to 11800 at possible. A silver band has a tolerance of 10% and no band is 20% tolerance. Will could let your ohms fall out of range. Next make sure you have it wired exactly like that picture shows. It has to send the resistance value to the bcm side of that plug. Make sure your connections are good too. If your security light is still flashing then the vats module isn't seeing the correct resistance value so you need to check and recheck all those things I have listed.

we measure in my company the resistor and it shows 11,70 ohms...so its in the range....and i connect it one to the purple and one to the white which was going to the BCM .today i will measure the both white cables from the cylinder if they have 11,7 when i trie to start......when the security light is blinking only the starter is cut ? or also other things ?
    thx robert

vats cuts the starter and fuel pump. I tried to by pass the starter relay and the fuel pump. I even hot wire the fuel pump. If the BCM module(vats) does not read the resistor value it will not start. As soon as i put the resistors back it fires back up.

glad you got it figured out......most of the time it ends up being some little detail that was overlooked.

Nice job dude, i also picked out the wrong resistor when i did my vats bypass. 99% of the time if your security light is flashing like that, then its VATS.
