Identify Corsa exhaust
Hi folks,
I have a dual tipped exhaust setup that was on the car when I bought it. It's my understanding that the 02 WS6 came stock with a single tip exhaust, yes? So I am trying to determine what I have...
There is no label or logo on the tips or pipes that I can see. There is something on the muffler but I can't get under there far enough to see what it says.
So I'm just wondering if these are possible a Corsa catback... It looks like them from what I have seen in searching online. I've heard people talke about Corsa clones as well, maybe its a clone setup. Those of you that know, can you tell me what identifiers a Corsa catback has? Is 'Corsa' stamped clearly on the pipes or tips somewhere? Or is this an 02 stock setup and I just don't know it?
thanks!

whats the diameter of the tips? theres a few catbacks that have the dual/dual setup but ur best option is to just get under the car and see whats stamped on the muffler. could just be the corsa clone tips

I just measured them, they are 2 1/2 inch diameter. Also, both tips are open. I have seen some dual tips where only one was open to the pipe and the other was 'fake'...
Yeah maybe I can get one of my skinny friends to shimmy under the car and read the muffle for me! Or during the next oil change I can get the guy in the pit to read it...

Yep, circular. I can see where they were welded on. I shimmied under there as far as I could with a light. I can see some numbers stamped on the muffler, like
77244
71277
Something like that. No brand label or anything that I can see. I think you might be right, that these are Corsa clones, probably on the stock exhaust. Bummer, I thought it mighta had a better catback already on it. Oh well, now I can put one on there!

PS, thanks for the feedback!

Nice shot of the tips and the whole exhaust!
Yeah mine definitely are not Corsa Also I see where the right side pipe has been crunched and severly pinched. Previous owner must've run over a curb or rock or something. I wonder if that's impeding flow any? I guess the left pipe probably handles most of the exhaust on these setups, except maybe under WOT...
