ideas to support engine with no trans in car

title says it all, the trans is coming out and i need ideas to support the motor so its not just hanging on the mounts, car will be trailered to my house(8 miles) so it needs to be robust. the car will be with out a trans for a cople weeks and it needs to hod the motor for that long. i dont want to tear anything up so no hilljack ideas please.

what you do is take a 2x4, some duct tape, and a bungie cord.......oh, I just saw the thing about no hilljack ideas. Nevermind.

I'm not so sure I wouldn't worry with it but that's just me.

do you have a strut tower brace?

no no brace, i ended up jacking the motor up with the tranny jack attached to the trans, and took some thin pieces of wood and matched the distance between the crossmember and oil pan, and just filled the gap so its sitting at stock location, no worry about the pan cause its right on a flat area with plenty of support and load is spread out, plus its a cast pan so im really not worried about it.
