i need wheel help!

I just joined today. I am needing help. I have a 2005 gto. I am wanting to replace the factory 17" wheels w/ 18s. Ebay has several sets that are staggered 18"x8"front and 18"x9" back, but the offset shows to be 38, has anyone outhere used these wheels? they are hp or rpm brand. I want to run the largest rear tire i can w/o any rubbing issues. I can roll the rear quarters if needed. Thanks, Don

hey don..repost this in the gto forum....hopfully sarge will see this as he is the expert on gtos...id be willing to bet he'll give u much more info than u even really wanted..lol
