Just saying, there is a lot to learn. I small misclick of your mouse and you can do more damage than good. You WILL need a new rear end. It WILL blow apart, its just a matter of time. I beat the living piss out of my stock 10 bolt and it was still rock hard (maybe I got lucky) but I knew I was on borrowed time. Doesnt matter if you road race, race at the track, dig, roll etc... that kind of power will not be enough for the stock rear to handel. But it is your car and you do what you want. It would just suck if you do all that work to the motor then your rear takes a shit and you have to pull your car off the road or tow it home.

You could do a turbo set up for under 5 grand. Its pretty much the cheapest way to get fi on our cars if you dont fell like blowing 6-7 grand on a procharger

You can, but to do it rite it will cost more. I would strongly recomend a forged bottom end/rotating assembly. It would suck to limit the boost to the bare minimum just because your afraid of blowing up your motor. Not to mention you will need all the bolt ons and most of if not all the parts you would need for a cam swap (12 bolt/9", suspension, etc...) You will most likley need to upgrade the fuel system (pumps,injectors,etc...)

Forced induction isnt cheap. Power on demand but you certainley pay for it.

You dont NEED a new rear for roll racing and suspension isnt that big an issue in roll racing.

    Turbo is roughly $800
    intercooler roughly $400
Find some truck manifolds from crazy rays for $50
    42lb injectors $300
    new fuel pump $250
    waste gate $500
    Blow Off valve $250
    Boost controller $300
Well add another $650 for stuff I am probably forgetting, piping shipping parts and if you gotta buy the manifolds from somewhere else.

That brings your total to 3500 and you still have money for a rear if you really want one.

Run around 10-12 psi and you should have any problems. The only reason I didnt go this route with my car is because I have 100k on my motor and I wanted to stay NA for the strip. If your goal is a street machine this is just my .02

Werd. You will also want a good boost controller to adjust the boost for certain driving. I would be scared shitless to run 10-12 psi on a stock block.

I have thought about turbo's and alot about nitrous... Can you guys give me some opinions on nitrous setups? Its so cheap and hard to pass up. I think I will pop on a 12 bolt, basic bolt-ons with true dual exhaust. I dont see many suspensions mods in my fute, SFC's bout the only thing I need.
