I might just order it then.I just bought this WS6 and it has a fresh oil change with 10w30 mobil 1 synthetic and a K&N oil filter. The car is built with a cam and head package and I am going to be getting on it from time to time with a 4000 stall,12 bolt and 3:73.Should I just take the filter off and empty it and put all new in 10w40 amsoil in it.The filter looks brand new, probaly 300 miles on it.I dont know much about these filters.I think its a #2006 ? Do they hold 1 quart also ?

Get a new filter....what are we talking here...a few bucks...plus when you tighten them up and then take them off then tighten them back up you are asking for a busted gasket and a leak....get a couple of Amsoil filters....

    Amsoil 10-40 has a cSt of 14.9 @100c and 5-40 has 14.5.....
TBN of 5-40 is 12.2 and the 10-40 is 12.0.....so to me.....whichever is cheapest.....
here is the oil filter cross reference guide.... http://www.amsoil.com/scripts/runisa...msoiloaf:index

Good stuff...and pretty quick delivery. So, order online and wait a couple days and you're ready to go.
