    how would u know

    Just wanted to know if having the motor oil a little bit dirty affects the car at start up , MAKE IT KNOCK AT STARTUP.

    If it knocks at startup nothing will help completely. Piston slap is just an annoyance issue. It happens partly because oil drains out of the top of the engine when its shut off and takes a few seconds to get back to the top and lube everything and drown out the slap
