how to pull an engine on 2000 trans am
was looking for advice on pulling the engine out of my car. what is the easiest way and does anyone have info on where i can find a step by step manual for pulling it. is there anything i should be extra careful about when doing it. so if anyone has info i would appreciate it.

is it possible to pull it out from the top. i wont have acces to a lift

I also did not have a lift.
Just a hoist and tall jackstands. Ramps for the back tires.

Lowered, HID's, tinted.

I have always to pull it out the bottom, but i am sure it is possible to come out the top with it. You would just have to take out the radiator and fans, condenser and maybe front radiator support. Just guessing but surely someone has done it

It can come out the top.
Much more difficult I believe.

I know it's an LT, but the engine bays are the same, so here are pics. By the way, it took 6 hours for my friend and I to pull it and have the motor completly torn down to the point where the pistons were in a box waiting for the machine shop, doing it this way. It's easy to do and makes the motor work 100 times easier, because there are no wheel wells in the way.

Buy a new monitor. It's an LT4 intake (powdercoated red). The shocks next to it are orange.
