how much?
i just bought a sey of diamond pistons and lutani rods, im just wondering how much it would cost to get them intalled by a mechanic and how much it would cost to do it myself. are they hard to install??

Call a machine shop local to you and ask them. Prices will vary throughout the country.

Pewter- all bore 370 Trans Am
1. you're gonna need to have the block honed and cleaned up.
2. did your pistons come with rings? if you, you're gonna need those too.
3. new rod bolts are a must..arp or katech
4. you can do the motor pull and install yourself, but have the work done by a machine shop.

make sure you have the rotating assembly balanced at a machine shop first. If you have a after market cam make sure you have enough piston to valve clearance.
