    Cool how many of you installed your own cam and heads?

    I have some knowledge with engines, the older ones like the 350 chevy and the mopar 360,but no knowledge of the Ls1.Just how hard is it to do and what skill level should one have to even try?

    I have no mechanical skills and I just swapped my cam last month just fired it up last week. Ls1howto.com will get you through and cam or head install

    That's what I did too. My knowledge of car engines was limited before I started my project. But I learned so much during that process. But the ls1howto is definitely the way to get started.

    Out of the car is easy, in the car your lower back isn't going to be happy. If you can do the old ones you can do this.
