    So your seals are "sealing" because of the sludge on them? I got some bad news for you......that old"synthetic myth" really doesn't hold any water today because of one simple fact....all SM rated conventional oils have just about the same amount of cleaning agents as any synthetic oil.

    I just kinda figured with 140,000 miles that some of the seals would be gunked up and that using a sythentic would maybe clear some of that gunk up. Thanks for the info Sarge, I didn't know that. My meaty Corsica thanks you too, because it will now be seeing 10W-30 PP.

    Google Pennzoil Platinum on sale....O'Reileys/Advanced Auto/AutoZone etc. have these things from time to time...I can tell you the everyday price for a 5 quart jug of PP is $19.99 at ChinaMart everyday....damn tough to beat....but watch for the sales....

    Motor feels like it runs the same. However, I always watch my gas mileage. I've done it for years w/ every vehicle I've ever owned....from a 66 Fury to the current T/A. That way I know when basic performance starts to fall off. I'll let ya'll know what I come up with.
