Unhappy How to manually close power windows?

Well the driver side window in my TA will not go up. I replaced the switch, but that didn't solve it. I don't think it's the motor because it wasn't acting like it was starting to go. Went up & down fine then later last night when I got home & went to put it up it went up a little & just stopped & won't move now.

Is there a way to get the window up?

Pull the door panel off, and you have to pretty much pry the motor to move, then it will be good and stuck up instead of down. It's kinda a pain I'll tell you that much, but thats the only way I know of, unless you want to rip the rails up and wire the window up, but thats no good.

never been in the door of an f body, but in my silverado you just removed the door panel and the case around the magnet on the motor and simply cranked it up with the magnet and when it got all the way up the motor would just screw in place and hold it...

like i said never been in the door of an f body, but just take your time and try your best to imitate how the motor works so you dont mess shit up in there...

Same problem happened to me in my 94' Camaro ........... hope you have some time on your hands because getting to that motor behind the panel is going to be tuff ....... but it is doable.

maybe it is the motor. they do go out without warning sometimes. If you have a multimeter, check to see if its getting power.

Don't make it harder than you have to. Start with your new switch and make sure a wire didn't come loose and fuses and all the easy stuff first.

X2.. just got back from the beach...and mine went out with no warning during hour 14 of 16 hour trip. Been working fine all day...then wouldn't come up at all...pain in the ass! Someone reached in it that night and took shit! Fixed it the next day with new motor...not that bad to replace.
