    How does this setup sound?

I'll start by saying I'm not looking for the biggest or baddest. I WILL be doing small amounts at a time not all at once. The car is a DD I'm looking for respectable performance out of it with getting to drastic. This will be the first time I have ever got to Mod a car. I've ripped a few apart but never put stuff in.

This is pretty much what I'm looking to do for Performance wise. Appearance will come after I achieve the Performance I am looking for. Looking for Input on if parts are worthless if so please state what is a better part.

Your list looks pretty good. I don't know much about the Holley aluminum intake but if its anything similar to the Weiand intake, I would opt for an LS6 composite intake instead. The other thing I noticed with your list is the absence of sub frame connectors. They really are a must. Good luck with your project though

I would also swap those rockers for an LS2 timing chain and LS6 ported oil pump.

Well I can always add to the list so I'll add the timing chain and the ported oil pump. From what I have read the Rockers will help with duration I think it is cause of the cam being a "SMALL" cam and the same reason for the 7.425" pushrods with the rockers.

Isn't all after market intakes based on the LS6 intake?

I think the main reason more people don't run the holley and weiand intakes is heat soak. The composite LS6 will stay a little cooler. Enough to make a difference?? Got me. I just run an LS6 and call it good plus you can get used ones fairly cheap.

    ps
might as well add an adjustable torque arm to the list also

What does a adj. torque arm do? will it REALLY help with the car being a DD for going and handling good through turns? I think if I add more to suspension it should be upgraded sway bars right.

The Weiand and I assume the Holley as well, weigh about 25 pounds. The composite LS6 intake weighs about 5 pounds. Thats a big difference as well IMO.

The LS6 intake adds ponies over the stock LS!. The adjustable torque arm can be adjusted to give better handling in road course situations also, as well as improved drag strip performance.

Why a LS6 longblock you can probably build a stroker for the same price using your factory block.
