Flame Red / Orange Custom- 1998 Trans Am
How do I separate the metal motor mounts.
Hello everyone I have been rebuilding my LS1 with quite a few mods but I am stuck on the Motor mounts, I was wondering how do I separate the two metal pieces surrounding the bushing.
Now I was thinking that I would have to drill out the studs on one side to separate the two metal pieces to get to the bushing then use two bolts and nuts to put it back together.
Now I have never done this before but I'm thinking I'm on the right track going about it this way but I would like to have some help to make sure I am going about this the right way any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx everyone
