How do I know what springs I have?
My 2001 was order made, but I dont know what it sits on spring wise, under the car are bilstein shocks. I know slp has a level one and two set up, but how do I know what springs I have, and did slp put all bilstein shocks on the SS, or did they put bilstein shocks with stock springs? I know there are a few different questions in there but trying to get to the bottom of this.2001 Camaro SS, LM 1, BMR LCA, relocation brackets, BMR springs, adj panhard bar, smooth below, lid, sub-frame connectors weld on, strut brace
2000 WS6, ls6 intake, sub-frame connectors, slp maf, slp cat delete with slp y-pipe, electric cutout, strut brace, smooth below, slp lid, bmr LCA and RLB

What color are your springs? Bilstein shocks were a performance upgrade from SLP you could order from the factory. Most SS's came standard equipped with the DeCarbon shocks though which were orange in color.
I'm not that familiar with the SLP springs, but I know someone here recently posted a chart with various spring types, colors, and spring rates showing the differences. It's stock.

Well I know forsure its the bilstein shocks, as for the springs they are Blue. I just got all BMR springs, lower control arms, re-location brackets, and tranny mount, adj panhard rod. thats why im trying to figure out the springs that are on the car to see what gains I will make in ride hight and stiffness

The only one's I see on SLP's site are the Eibachs so someone else will have to chime in as I don't believe the one's you have are those.

what makes you think that jw?

Eibach's are not blue, at least I don't think they are. I have seen an Ebay lowering spring which was blue before. SLP may have sold a blue lowering spring at one time too though.

my car really isnt that low tho, look at a stock SS its lil or the same idk I cant figure it out. I guess Ill just have to wait till sunday when I have everything installed and see how it turns out.

Well, Eibach's only lower the car 1" so if you have a similar spring it probably wouldn't be too noticeable.

sooo if it is something like that will I even see a difference with the BMR springs?!

Are your springs blue? If not your car should ride at the same height as any other z28/ss.
