zep has some penetrating oil that puts pb to shame. It is only available commercially though. My mechanic swears by it.

as soon as I have access to commercial penetrating oil I'll try it......in the mean time some PB Blaster right off the parts shelf kicks ass. I haven't found much that it won't free up.

    new wheel studs

I used a little WD40 and a BFH and the 2 broken studs are out did'nt remove calipor or rotor.

?1.will reinstalling new stud (pulling into place w/ a stack of washers) w/ rotor on will it damage the rotor?

?2.can I purchase wheel studs from a regular auto parts store like a Autozone? or must they be purchased at the stealership?

    Thanks

    1. Very well could. That is a LOT of pressure on the rotor. The caliper and rotor come off with two 18mm bolts. Remove them.

    2. VatoZone should have them.
