Exclamation How difficult is it to install a LSX FAST 90mm Intake?

Buying the FAST intake manifold and was thinking of doing the install myself and was just curious if anyone else did the manifold install them self how long did it take??

Is it worth doing it your self or spending the $300 to have it installed for you?

Does anyone have any step by step instructions to doing it yourself with picts?

try porting your current TB...since you already have a ls6 manifold the gains won't be noticeable unless your going for big power....my .02

If you go with a set of AFR 205's milled .030, with Comp XER cam, either 36# or 42# injectors, aftermarket fuel rails, Walbro pump, larger MAF, appropriate 'fine tuning', LT's, no cats, good catback, and the Fast 90/NW90 combo; the gains will be impressive - in the upper 400 range for both RWHP/RWTQ.

On a basically otherwise stock car I agree with the others that the LS6 intake is fine and the gains you see from a 90/90 combo is not worth the cost.

If you're willing to ante up all the $$ for a setup similar to what I mentioned above, then get in touch with Tony @ AFR and he can help you with the setup/parts selection. Every car that has followed his recipe to the last detail has dynoed in the upper 400 RWHP/RWTQ range.

Ok so i have the LS6 manifold (02 WS6) and if i decide to buy the FAST manifold with the 90mm Throttle how much power could i be expecting over my stock WS6 manifold and throttle??

    And is it worth it??

    No

Not unless you do heads and cam. Your engine will then be trying to pull in a lot more air justifying your LSX. Right now it does not.
