hole in driver side firewall for wires?

    car is a 99 TA

I've read somewhere there is a hole on the driver side (like the pass. side) firewall for running wires though somewhere under the cowl.

doe's anyone know of this holes location? image would be nice.

plan B for right now is to route the wire aganist body inbetween steering shaft then under floor into the rubber piece on floorbroad.or maybe though the trans. hole. either not that great of a plan.

plan C routewire maybe under cowl to the Pass. side then though firewall behind ECU.

Thanks for any tips on this driver side hole

pull the carpet back out from under the dash and you should find one there or a little higher around the brake booster

    hole for wires

can this hole be sean from the engine compartment?

or can it only be sean from inside the car last time I was looking in this area I remember the hood cable up and in the corner is this hole you're talking about much higher?

is there a gormet cover the hole?

what's the apporcimite diameter of hole?

    thanks

twist yourself up under the dash, I don't have an F-body, but most cars have atleast one extra hole with a grommet near thetop of the dash around the steering colum.

another option would be to go to the "HELP" section in the auto parts store or stereo shop and buy a grommet, drill a hole the right size and install it away from the exhaust and moving parts
